Jessica Bennett Gawronski, MS, RD, CDN
Registered Dietitian
Jess is a unique dietitian and takes a new approach to nutrition practice. Besides having three degrees from conventional, accredited colleges, she has also studied holistic health in California and Australia, and continues to study Integrative and Functional Nutrition, which applies cutting-edge science to a holistic treatment philosophy. She sees her patients as whole people rather than merely a collection of symptoms and test results.
Most people are familiar with the term “nutritionist,” but most people don’t know that “nutritionist” is an unregulated term that any layperson can use! Registered Dietitians are the only nutrition professionals required to complete extensive coursework through strictly accredited programs and 1200 supervised practice hours in places like hospitals, community organizations, and private practice. They are required to pass a federal registration exam and complete continuing education to maintain their credentials. Rather than a one-size-fits-all diet, individual nutrition counseling is a series of one-on-one sessions with your dietitian that takes into account your health history, goals, & lifestyle to provide the support that YOU need to succeed. Every session is completely customized to meet your needs. Jess is available at Balance by appointment. Contact her directly at TheWellnessRD@gmail.com (website: www.wellrd.com/) to schedule!
