2/6/23 Yin Yoga with Martha-Monday 7:45 pm
Monday 7:45 pm
Instructor: Martha Hoff
Bring: Mat, block/bolster, pillow or blanket.
Class Description:
The Yin Side of Yoga
Yin yoga is the calming, restorative counterpart to the “yang” of a powerful Vinyasa practice. In this practice postures are held for a longer period, generally 3 to 5 minutes (gradually built over time). Staying in the poses for this extended time intensifies and deepens the stretch, which is supported by props (block, bolster, pillow, blanket) to prevent overstretching. Yin yoga will help increase your mobility and flexibility, as well as work deeply into the connective tissues of the body, leaving you with a feeling of calm and relaxation as you begin or end your day.
In compliance with Covid-19 restrictions, we are not able to provide any props. In addition to your mat please bring a block and a bolster, pillow or blanket.

Baptiste Power Yoga with Yoga Nidra Meditation- with Denise Riley
Thursday 7:00 pm
Bring: Yoga mat, towel, water, block/strap
Baptiste Power Yoga focuses on the Journey into Power sequence, a series of postures that flow from one to the next. You will tone, strengthen, and cleanse your body. We'll flow for approximately 45 minutes and end with yoga nidra meditation. Yoga Nidra, or yoga sleep, is practiced while in savasana. Yoga masters believe that stress management and relaxation training are valuable, but stress will always be experienced to some extent. Through Yoga Nidra, we learn thoughts, feelings, and emotions are temporary, and this practice helps us change our perspective on stress and how we handle these situations.
